Key distinctions from regular stainless steel strip include:

  • Tighter Tolerances: Thickness tolerance typically within ±0.001mm–±0.005mm.
  • Uniform Grain Structure: Fine and evenly distributed grains enhance material integrity by increasing grain boundary density, which strengthens interatomic bonding and improves comprehensive performance.
  • Optimized Properties: Homogeneous mechanical properties (e.g., hardness, toughness) with minimal internal stress.
  • Premium Surface Quality: High-grade finishes (e.g., 2B, BA, 8K mirror) with minimal defects like scratches or roll marks.
  • Specialized Applications: Used in high-precision components such as electronic connectors, medical devices, battery tabs, and precision instruments.

  • Austenitic Steels: 201/204Mn/301/301B/304/304L/305/316/316L (excellent corrosion resistance, widely used).
  • Martensitic Steels: 410, 420 (high hardness for cutlery and bearings).
